PACTA is an open-source methodology. Tools that are developed to perform PACTA analysis and their source codes are publicly available via Transition Monitor website and CRAN. (Written in R, available on Github) ,
The developers of PACTA have 100% non-commercial business model. That is, we engage in no commercial activity and remain independent from any economic interests in order to maintain scientific integrity. Such a model serves to avoid commercial biases when designing standards and ensuring a transaction-cost minimizing solution.
PACTA tool has been developed with financial support from the European Commission LIFE Action Grant, International Climate Initiative (IKI), and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU).
